The loop

A walking app with a memory.

Trod starts with a cloud-covered map and one simple prompt: go somewhere. There is no workout to configure and no perfect route to build first.

01

Open the cloud-covered map.

You can begin as a guest. Allow precise location when you want Trod to reveal the area around you. If you would rather look around first, turn it on later.

02

Walk and watch the city appear.

Clouds clear around accepted movement. The newly revealed area joins everything you uncovered before, so the map gets more personal with every walk.

03

Take the useful detour.

When Today’s Walk is available near you, it offers one eligible reason to head out. Tap Navigate when you want directions in your phone’s map app.

04

Keep what the walk added.

Your Atlas gathers the result. Supported cities show exact progress. The world view keeps walked cities, visited countries, and dream destinations in one place.

Screen off

Put the phone away if you want.

On Android, walking mode can keep the walk active while the screen is off. A visible notification stays on while it runs, and you can stop it whenever you want.

Create an account when you want account backup, friends, Circles, and sharing. Step counting is optional. It never controls whether the map reveals.

Honest coverage

Reveal works widely. Local depth varies.

Trod can clear clouds wherever the online map and location service work. Exact city percentages and place-rich discovery depend on supported city data.

If a place does not have a deeper Trod card, the map still reveals as you walk.
