Permissions
You choose the optional parts.
Precise location is needed to reveal the map accurately. Step permission is optional. You can use the reveal without counting steps.
Walking mode can keep a walk active while the screen is off. Android shows an ongoing notification while it runs. Trod does not request Android’s background-location permission.
Availability
Android only for now.
Trod is currently available through Google Play. No iPhone launch date has been announced.
